In a friendly match earlier today between Jefrey and Susan a new pinnacle in 2B1C was reached. In the opening tosses of the match Jefrey threw a triple hot pocket. He made the first 6 balls consecutively to reach 15 points before Susan had a turn causing her to go straight to rebuttal. After she missed her 2 rebuttal attempts another record was set, shortest 2B1C match. Witnesses were Boone’s Farm and Rodolfo.
After the match it was decided that the feat should have a name. Sticking with the ‘pocket’ theme and using the middle initial of the player that accomplished the achievement the ‘G-Pocket’ was born.

Mandy 35 – Britney 24 (2OT)
This was hands down the best 2B1C game I have ever had the pleasure to witness. Two scoring powerhouses at the top of their game. 4 total Hot Pockets, 3 by Mandy with 2 of the 3 coming in overtime. The lead exchanged hands 6 times. This was to date the highest scoring 2B1C game not to mention the first successful double sneaky grandpa.
Mandy ties the series at 1 game a piece.
Britney 20 – Mandy 8
From the beginning both players looked a little sluggish. Their BOCs were high but neither could string together a hot pocket. The series is sure to heat up in game 2 after both players warm up to the work week. I’m thinking this series might go to a game 7. Stay tuned.

The series is scheduled to begin Monday, November 15th. This should be a good series, both players are coming off a series win and they do not like each other at all. This could be the first time we see blood shed during a 2B1C match, this is sure to be a doozie. Get your tickets early, this series is sure to sell out.
